Back in February I hosted a Sweetheart Session Giveaway; Rhane and Jaid were the lucky winners! Jaid suggested we shoot in down town Phoenix at the bird wall; I’m always down to explore new locations so of course I said yes! I wasn’t sure where exactly it was so it took a bit of research to find out where it was and it was still there. Success- I found it! The session was in the morning and we got there just before 8am, although the meters did not take our money until 8, so that was confusing, luckily my assistant paid without me knowing so we didn’t get towed! Thanks Abby!
We started the session at the bird wall. Surprisingly cranked out a lot of poses at the wall, and then started exploring. We walked around the corner and saw a cute little coffee shop with a little table out front, I had them sit like they were on a date- maybe I should try lifestyle photography 😉 After some more exploring we had a few different looking locations and a ton of great poses!
The day of their session it was super cloudy and surprisingly a bit chilly. I didn’t get any of those pretty lens flares and light leaks, but we had nice even lighting and it wasn’t too hot, so that’s good. I’m so happy about how they came out and Rhane and Jaid are seriously so cute together. The way they look at each other in the photos, ladies and gentlemen, that’s not something I can pose, that’s genuine love! Without further ado, take a look:
