Two weekends ago, I photographed Emma and Matt at The Mogollon Rim in Payson. I had wanted to shoot at that location for a while so I was super excited! Matt and Emma left the east valley at 6:45am and drove 2 hours to meet me at the location. I left from Tonto Basin and ended up driving behind them or about an hour! When we got to the location we expected it to be a bit chillier that it was. Over all the weather was awesome! I wasn’t sure how lighting would be in the late morning, but we lucked out and got clouds all day!

I’ve known Emma since we were kids and over the past few years she had developed a liking to coffee… ok who are we kidding, we all know it’s an obsession! She had downed a huge Starbucks coffee right before the shoot and she was a bit hyper and off the wall! Id get them in the pose and between the time it too to put the camera to my face Emma would bee giggling and squirming all over (I just wanted to make sure she didn’t giggle right off the rim!). Once Matt and I got her somewhat calmed down, we got some super romantic shots!

Now don’t start thinking that Matt was over there being an angel child; Matt was feeing off of Emma’s energy and he turned into quite the goof ball! Needless to say we had a lot of fun at this shoot and were laughing the whole time!

Emma and Matt just celebrated 2 years together and I am so happy for them! They are so cute together and they have that perfect #goals kind of relationship. Here are the rest of their photos from Payson:
