Courtney and Randy

When Courtney messaged me on Instagram asking about photos, I did what anyone else would do… I went through her photos! I instantly knew I was going to enjoy this shoot. When she told me that her and her boyfriend Randy met at Boot Barn, I got even more excited! And let me tell you, their session did not disappoint!

I showed up to the location a bit early not sure what to expect, and I see two big lifted trucks in the parking lot and a country boy dressed to the nines, I knew that was my client. I walked over doing the awkward, “hey… are you Randy?” It was him. Phew! From around the truck his two friends came around and we all waited until it got closer to the time of the shoot and Courtney pulled up! She got out of her car and I saw she had a Mexican blanket- Yay! I asked her to bring a picnic blanket and this would work perfectly! We walked towards the park and chatted a bit. Randy had been working in Alaska all summer and had gotten home a few hours before the shoot! Isn’t that crazy! And props to Courtney for surviving all summer without her boyfriend! I can’t last a week without mine! We got to the grass and lighting was perfect! The shoot began!

Randy was being a goof, but the picnic blanket photos turned out so adorable!

It was fun because it was also homecoming for the nearby high school, so we had an audience of students watching pretty much the whole shoot! But that didn’t stop us! I had them dancing and kissing and even off-roading through plants, bushes, and they even crossed a stream… I promised them it would be worth it, and it was!

As the sun started getting lower and we grabbed the last few images, I had Randy picking Courtney up with the lake in the back. Little did we know a group of homecoming kids were behind us whistling, cheering and shouting! Haha!

I am so happy with the photos they are so cute and Courtney and Randy were the sweetest!
