Caylie – DV Senior

What an adventure with Caylie!! We showed up to the first location, and it was flooded! No!!! We got a few photos in the dry areas of the park, but I wanted to get some really great images for Caylie, so I suggested we go to the park down the street. Her and her mom were totally game for this idea! We drove down the street and I’m so glad we did because we got some really amazing photos! And of course, everything is in bloom so one of the first things we see is a mini forest of millions of yellow flowers!! YES!

I was scared the yellow would over power the image, but I actually really love how they came out! We walked down a little further and I almost died because the lighting was so beautiful. Casually crouching in trees and walking over bushes… hey whatever it takes to get the shot! And it was defiantly worth it!

Big thanks to Caylie’s mom for helping me out at this shoot! My assistant had just gotten his wisdom teeth out the day before, so I was solo at this shoot. (I forgot how much I love having an assistant). Luckily her mom stepped in as my assistant and helped me with the reflector, carrying things, and even a few behind the scenes. She rocks!!
